Description
This place was very surreal. The chair you can see in the image was actually a childrens chair, with a red umbrella and childrens book lying next to it. The rooms in the house were destroyed and filthy, the whole 1st floor was covered in trash. (documents we found let assume the house was lost 4 years ago). In one room we found signs of drug abuse in another one a large stuffed bear.
There also was a place where the peeled of tapestry unveiled a hidden door.

I don't have much to add to what my fellow
folks had to say, so let me just make a suggestion. While the dominant blue does provide a background to the backlit umbrella, I can't help but wonder how using a colored filter might have given this an even more other-worldly sort of look. It might also have shown some of the details of the basket, on the right, or some of the other items on the floor in sharper detail. Conversely, a black and white rendition might prove interesting. Granted you would lose the central focus of the brightly colored umbrella, but I'm thinking that perhaps this might have given this scene a film noir quality.
Did you happen to shoot the room with the stuffed bear? I would think that this might make for a very poignant scene.
